Participants Aged 7 And Under

The NDIS has clear structured guidelines for ages 7 and under and we work strictly to these proven principles. The approach to ages 7 and earlier can be markedly different from older ages and more information can be found here on why support for under 7’s is so important.

That is why we focus strongly on early childhood support services with all our support workers having not only great experience in this area but relevant qualifications and clearances too.

Each child is unique so each participant will have a unique plan based on their own needs and abilities. Each plan will have clearly defined and achievable goals set out in their NDIS plan to maximise the early childhood developmental phase.

In short, Komplete Abilities works as part of an early childhood team, always focused on the participant and the family to provide the best care, support and development for each participant. If you would like to know more about any of our support services please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Why Complete Abilities?

There are many reasons why so many families work with us all across Adelaide
Person-Centred Approach

Each NDIS plan is individually tailored to the individual, we treat each participant as an individual with no all-encompassing approach.

We Aim for Independence

One of the goals within our care is to identify and strengthen any skills each participant has, as well as teaching a range of crucial life skills which can lead to a more happy and independent life.

Patience

With the guidance of a carefully and individually structured NDIS plan, we work with each participant to reach their goals in a patient and encouraging manner

Compassion

Our support workers know how difficult some challenges can be, but we never forget that goals aren’t achieved without patience and understanding.

Our staff are passionate about providing high standards of care and working within strict Australian care codes, with a kind and understanding approach.

All our support staff have extensive knowledge and experience working with NDIS participants and clients.

FAQs

How are you more child or youth-focused?

Experience. Our carers have all spent more time with young adults and children than most. Whilst every participant has individual needs that need to be catered for, there are certain skills, abilities and experiences that make for better caregivers for the young. at Komplete Abilities we focus on this area as there are few companies providing this more specialised service

Why is it better to have a carer that is child focused?

As mentioned above, the experience our team has with the young will be invaluable when caring for your loved one. All children will exhibit traits specific to their age group and so having a pre-existing understanding of these enables our carers to provide a better level of all-around support

Will you take care of any medications whilst on a journey?

Yes, your carers will make sure that any necessary medications are taken at the required times when outside the home

What journeys or travel can you assist with?

Any trips that require the use of public transport. This can be for getting to and from school, visiting friends, going to the park, getting to the cinema or just regular local shopping trips etc
